I used ucf.edu a ton while figuring out my student housing, it made the whole process way less stressful than I expected. The housing pages had pretty much everything I needed in one spot, like the different options, costs, dates, and what to expect next.

I really appreciated that the updates and forms were all together, because I was fully prepared to spend a million years clicking around trying to find stuff. The move-in details were clear too, which helped a lot when I was trying to get everything organized.
Overall, my housing experience at UCF has been really good. It wasn’t perfect every single second, but it was definitely smoother than I thought it would be and way better than I expected.

I took a few online classes through ucf, and for the most part it was a easy experience. The site was simple enough to get around, and I could usually find my class materials without digging all over the place. A few pages did load slower than I expected, which made me wonder a little about how reliable the platform would be during busier times, but it never turned into a huge issue for me. Overall, it made online school feel a lot less stressful than I thought it would.

UCF is in a really good area. There are so many food places nearby, a bunch of apartments, stores, all that stuff... so it makes day-to-day life easy. Getting to other parts of Orlando usually isn’t too bad either, though traffic can definitely get on your nerves sometimes. But overall, for students, the campus area just works

There was a lot to do, and I ended up meeting some really cool people quickly. It felt easy to get involved and not awkward at all. Overall, I’d say it was a really good experience and definitely worth it.

Overall, the courses seem solid, but it really depends on the professor. Some explain the material clearly and make it easy to follow, while others make simple topics feel way more confusing than they should. the difference between instructors can be kind of ridiculous

The shuttles were on time, which is all you can really ask for. The parking signs were clear and helped me find my way without any hassle. Straightforward and worked like it should.

Overall, the facilities are okay. The library and gym are actually good, and I’ve had no real complaints with those. But the parking situation is a mess, and a few of the buildings feel outdated. It’s not a bad place, but over time those little issues start to chip away at your trust that things are being managed as well as they should be

ucf has a lot of research opportunities for students if you’re willing to ask around and reach out. Some labs can be a little slow to respond, but overall it’s a solid place to get involved and gain experience.

That gave me a good impression because it felt like different backgrounds and experiences are actually acknowledged instead of tucked away somewhere. The faculty support is kind of hit or miss. Some professors are great and you can tell they actually care, like they’ll respond, explain things, and try to help you out. But then with others it feels like you’re kind of on your own, which is frustrating because you never really know what you’re going to get until you’re already in the class.

I ended up using ucf counseling last semester when things got rough, and I was nervous about the whole process. The staff were really kind and got me in quicker than I thought they would. I’ll admit, after I paid or handled the billing side, I got a little distrustful and wondered if the support would actually be worth it or if I’d just get rushed through. But the counselor I spoke with made it feel way less scary, and I left feeling like they genuinely cared

Booking an appointment was simple, and everyone I talked to was friendly and easy to work with. To me, it felt like a really useful resource, especially if you’re not totally sure where to start...
